Series of activities mark inauguration of BBBP week in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: To spread the awareness regarding the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, a series of activities were today conducted in the educational institution across the district Kishtwar on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma and under the supervision of Nodal officer BBBP, Anoop Kumar.

At GDC Kishtwar, NSS unit organised a slogan and essay Writing competition under the guidance of Nodal Officer BBBP and District Coordinator NSS GDC Prof Faisal Mushtaq. About 60 students from different semesters participated in the programme.

Similar programme was held at HS Banderna where the students of class 9th and 10th took part in the painting competition.

Students ably expressed their views on Beti Bachao Beti Padao through their paintings.

Prizes were also distributed among the winners.
