AICTE-ZIEGLER AEROSPACE offers 200+ free internship opportunities through AICTE’s online internship portal
New Delhi. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Ziegler Aerospace, has launched the first of its kind a hands-on Aeronautical Industry based internship namely “AEROTERNS”.
The event was blessed with the presence of several eminent personalities, including AICTE Chairman Professor Anil Sahasrabudhe, Vice-Chairman Professor MP Poonia, Member Secretary Prof. Rajive Kumar, Chief Coordinating Officer Shri Chandrasekhar Buddha, CEO & Founder of Ziegler Aerospace, Shri Naresh S Solipur, Rohan Vimal, Associate Corporate at Ziegler Aerospace.
“The internship program offered by AICTE will help fine-tune the skills of job aspirants in the country. Through this collaboration program, we offer internship opportunities for more than 200 budding Aviation Enthusiasts. We believe that this internship program will enhance the skills and bridge the gap between educational institutes and the aviation industry when it comes to hiring graduates and job opportunities in the aeronautical domain,” said Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe.
AICTE Vice Chairman Professor MP Poonia said that connecting Industries with institutes is need of an hour, through initiatives of this kind. He added that AICTE, in line with National Education Policy, is providing a platform for students to enrich their skills and get them prepped for the bigger stage.
Member Secretary Prof. Rajive Kumar said, “Internship opportunities like these provide a major boosts for the students to take up and pursue their aviation dreams with a sense of security.”
“The virtual internship program will help build a pool of skilled talent significant for the future of jobs relevant in the industry. By 2025, the program aims to provide more than 35 lakh government internships, 40 lakh MSME internships, 10 lakh startup internships, and 15 lakh MNCs, Research, and NGO internships,” said Shri Buddha Chandrasekhar, CCO, AICTE. Shri Buddha Chandrasekhar also emphasised on the importance of having such collaborations especially in the aerospace domain, and much more can be achieved through this AICTE platform for students to engage in Aeronautical opportunities directly.
“The main reason behind this initiative between AICTE-Ziegler Aerospace is to empower the students into pursuing their aviation dreams and improve the scenario of job opportunities in India when it comes to the Aerospace Domain. We, as an Industry want to provide seamless opportunity and bridge that infamous divide between graduates and Aerospace Companies. Hopefully, in the long term, with initiatives like these, India will become a major hub and a leader in MRO/Aviation operations around the world. We thank AICTE for their Internship Portal to provide a platform to students across the country to enrol and get involved with the industry in a smooth and regulated fashion,” said Shri Naresh S Solipur, CEO & Founder, Ziegler Aerospace.
