DDC Kathua reviews achievements underB order Area Development Programme

Kathua: District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Rahul Yadav today convened a meeting to review the Financial and Physical progress of the Schemes and Works under Border Area Development Programme (BADP) for the year 2020-21.

The DDC reviewed progress of ongoing development works taken up under BADP and emphasized for their timely completion by adhering to all guidelines, besides ensuring proper utilization of the funds.

The physical status of the ongoing works, number of schemes completed during 2020-21 as well the headway achieved so far on the works under progress was reviewed by the DDC in detail.

He impressed upon the officers of PWD, PHE, Irrigation, Rural development to timely submit the utilization certificates of the works. He also called upon the concerned officers to formulate an outlay for the youth skill development programmes to be taken up by the departments like Transport, Social Welfare, employment, handcrafts, Horticulture etc in the next year plan.

ACD, XEN Jal Shakti, XEN PWD(R&B), XEN JPDCL, XEN Irrigation & FC, BDO’s and other District officers were present in the meeting.
