Public outreach camps held at Banihal, Rajgrah, Batote, Sangaldan and Ramsoo

Banihal: To provide governance at people’s doorsteps, district and sectoral officers today visited different areas of district to address the public issues expeditiously.

In view of tough and hilly topography of the district, the officers were allotted specific areas by the Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam to resolve the public issues on the spot.

During the visit officers resolved sector- specific issues relating to essential commodities and essential services.

Assistant Director, FCA&CA, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Butt held an awareness- cum- ration card Aadhar seeding camp for left-out ration card holders in Batote. During the camp, on-spot Aadhar seeding facility was provided to people at their doorsteps.

Horticulture Department conducted camp at Banihal which was attended by the SDM, Zaheer Abass Baht and Chief Horticulture Officers, VK Gupta. They resolved the issues of masses relating to the horticulture sector.

Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti, Nazir Ahmed, besides resolving the local issues, also discussed implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission and Jal Shakti Abhiyan at Jatgalli, Rajgarh.

Similarly, District Social Welfare Officer, Whaeed-ur-Rahman and District Nodal Officer, NRLM conducted public outreach programmes at Sangaldan and Ramsoo, respectively.
