Sir Syed Academy organized Book Release

Aligarh: The Sir Syed Academy, AMU released a two volume book, “Discovering AMU Centenary Chapters Revealing 100+years of Legacy” authored by Atif Hanif. It is a part of the Centenary Celebrations as a number of books, monographs and articles have been published to commemorate the centenary celebrations.

The Alumni of the University also celebrated the occasion all over the globe. To celebrate the occasion Atif Hanif (MBA, AMU 1999), a performing brand marketing professional and Joint Secretary of AMUOBA Lucknow branch authored a two volume book “Centenary Chapters Revealing 100+ years of Legacy”. The book seeks to capture the 360 degree view of the University in the past 100 years with the help of photographs. The book contains a valuable collection of photographs submitted by Alumni from all over the world.

Prof Ali Muhammad Naqvi, Director Sir Syed Academy in his presidential remarks lauded the effort of Atif Hanif and highlighted the major role of Sir Syed Academy in celebrating the centenary year of the University.

Prof Saud Alam Qasmi, Dean Faculty of Theology, appreciated the author in gathering all the information and compiling them.

Prof Mirza Sufyan Beg, Principal Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, highlighted the efforts of Mr Atif and all contributors of the book.

Omar Peerzada (PRO), Dr Farhan Fazli, Dr Rehan Akhtar, Ms Anusha Khan , Mr Adil Kareem , Dr S Husain Haider , Dr Nadeem Ashraf , Dr Aftab Alam Najmi , Mr Najmul Hasan Rizvi (Najmi) also spoke on the occasion.

Dr Muhammad Shahid, Deputy Director of Sir Syed Academy, while extending the vote of thanks applauded the work of Mr Atif and assured him of every possible help in future for academic and literary activities that promotes AMU and carry forward the vision of its founder Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.

Faculty members, scholars and staff members of Sir Syed Academy attended the event maintaining social distance as per government advisory.
