DC Ramban inspects Covid sampling centre at Nashri

Ramban: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today visited Covid Sampling Centre at Nashri in Batote to inspect the progress in the sampling process.

In view of the 2nd wave of infection, the Covid sampling has been intensified in Ramban district and vigorous testing of travelers, drivers and conductors is being conducted to detect the possible cases.

The District Administration has established Covid testing facilities at Jawahar Tunnel, Railway Station, Banihal and North portal of Chenani-Nashri tunnel at Nashri for random testing of inter-district and intra-district passengers.

While inspecting the center, the DC directed the Health officers to take all care in collecting the samples for RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen Test to identify the positive case which shall help to prevent spread of COVID-19 infection in the district.
