DC Kupwara inspects CVC-SDH, reviews supply position of medicines
Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today inspected Covid Vaccination Centre (CVC) of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara.
During the visit, the DC inspected Covid Vaccination Centre and took stock of availability of the medicines being supplied to the Covid infected patients.
The DC directed CMO Kupwara to arrange supply of injection Remidasivir-100, besides other required medicine instantly. He was informed by the CMO that the requisition of the medicine has been already placed to Director Health Services for proper supply to meet out the requirement. He was further informed that the requisite other medicines for Covid-19 infection are available in good quantity.
The DC also inspected the equipment for establishment of the Oxygen Plant in the hospital.
Later, the DC convened a meeting in the BMO Office Kupwara and reviewed the supply position of medicines required for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. He also reviewed the status of Covid sampling, testing and directed the concerned officers for further gearing up the sampling and testing process.
He directed to strictly implement the SOPs of Covid-19 and ensure the adherence of Covid appropriate behaviour in letter and spirit as per the guidelines. He also stressed for imposition of fine on offenders of Covid-19 protocol.
The DC directed the concerned for making treatment protocol charts for the patients. He asked them to motivate and educate the patients for following the treatment protocol.
He appealed to the people to follow the COVID-19 SOPs, use masks and keep social distancing to save themselves from pandemic. He also appealed to them to come forward and get administered Covid Vaccine at their nearest health centres and avoid unnecessary venturing out of their homes.
The Dc during the visit was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue and Chief Medical Officer Kupwara.
