Covid protocol enforcement drive intensified in Ramban
Ramban: The enforcement of Covid appropriate behavior was intensified to contain the spread of infection in the district.
The enforcement teams conducted inspection in their respective jurisdictions and imposed a fine of Rs 24800 from persons found violating the SoPs taking the total amount realized on this account to Rs. 377100 since April 1.
The enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance while venturing out to carry out their essential works.
They also urged to take Covid vaccination doses in their nearest Covid Vaccination Centres besides adhering to the COVID-19 SOPs and other preventative measures to prevent the spread of infections.
Meanwhile, as many as 1011 persons were administered first and second Covid vaccine doses across Ramban district today. The Health Department also collected 1025 samples including 313 RT-PCR and 712 RAT samples in the district.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, 1011 persons were administered Covid vaccine today at dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
