DDC Shopian reviews progress of B2V3, works

Shopian: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of developmental works taken under Back to Village 3rd (B2V3) and 14th FC programme in the district.

It was decided in the meeting that concerned officers shall accord Administrative approval for early completion of all the ongoing developmental works for completing them within the shortest possible time to facilitate the general public.

The DDC also reviewed the progress of development works under 14th FC and it was decided that the works plan shall be finalized within a week’s time. The concerned officers have been vested powers to accord administrative approval.

The DDC exhorted upon the officers to accelerate and expedite the pace of work in the district, adding that people of the district have pinned hope on the Administration for development of the district. He emphasised them to gear up their men and machinery and leave no stone unturned in completing all the works within a stipulated time frame.

Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian; Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Development, District Panchayat Officer Chief Exen PMGDY & REW besides BDOs and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
