AYUSH medicines distributed at DC office Samba
Samba: District Development Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta today inaugurated free medical aid counter cum awareness camp organized by Department of Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH) here at DC office complex.
The DDC exhorted the District Officers to spread the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in these times of pandemic among all the staff working at vulnerable spots. She said that medicines provided by AYUSH offer a great help in reduction of respiratory disorders, increasing immune system besides improving the overall strength and vitality in humans. He appealed to the public in general and staff deployed in coronavirus duties to use medicines of AYUSH to boost their immune system.
The DDC directed the nodal officer ISM District Samba, Dr. Vikram Singh to carry out free medical aids cum awareness camp at each major spots in the district, including government offices, quarantine centres, police posts and other major spots. He laid emphasis upon Sarpanchs and Panchs in distributing door to door AYUSH medicines to the general public.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitender Mishra; besides other District Officers and staff of ISM were also present on the occasion.
