Mahagun gives Manthan School ground floor to Noida Authority for COVID isolation centre
Noida: As the nation grapples with the second wave of Corona, several private organisations have stepped in to assist the government in caring for COVID patients. Mahagun Group, a well-known real estate developer in the region, has also decided to convert the ground floor of their Manthan School (Junior Wing), Sector 78, Noida, into an L-1 hospital for COVID patients. The Group has pledged the school’s ground floor to Noida Authority until June
The facility in the school would be developed & managed by Noida authority and not by AOA or any other private party. This facility would be able to cater to hundreds of Covid positive patients in the nearby vicinity. The Group in continuance with its multiple efforts under social welfare, it is pledging support to Noida Authority in fighting the pandemic. After June 30, the school will resume normal operations as a learning institution. The support is extended due to the shortage of beds, a significant hurdle in the fight against COVID.
A spokesperson from Mahagun Group said “With this support, we look forward to support noida authority in its drive to help people during the times of crisis.
The ground floor of our junior school will be used as L1 hospital and will be developed and managed by Noida authority until 30th June 2021. Post which the floor would be reused for educational purposes.”
