7218 Covid cases recover at Kupwara: DC

Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din, Friday said that elaborate arrangements have already been put in place as containment measure in district Kupwara. He said that number of total positive cases has reached to 9118, while as recovered cases are 7218 in the district which is 79.16 percent.

The information was given by the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara while addressing a press conference here today.

He said the total deaths recorded so far is 114, adding that the case fatality rate is 1.25 percent.

Talking about the contact tracing, the DC said that 99745 contacts were traced so far. He further informed that the number of total positive cases with comorbidity is 237.

Regarding home isolation, the DC said that 1466 cases are under home isolation, while as 72 cases are in DCCC isolation in the district.
