Ensemble “Karelian Souvenir” – winner of the National Prize “Future of Russia”

The final of the National Prize in the field of culture and art “The Future of Russia” was held in Moscow.
The folk dance collective “Karelian Souvenir” became a finalist of the 5th National Prize in the field of culture and art “The Future of Russia”. The final was supposed to take place a year ago, but due to the pandemic it was postponed. As a result, two finals of the 5th and 6th National Prizes were held at once.

The PetrSU team presented three numbers: the Karelian dance “Guys from another village”, “Ancient Karelian dance”, “Zaonezhsky circular dance”.

The ensemble won the National Prize for the performance of “Ancient Karelian Dance”.
