DLSA Samba organizes Online ‘Peer-to-Peer Awareness Programme”
Samba: Under the aegis of J&K Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority Samba today organized an Online ‘Peer-to-Peer Awareness Programme” under the supervision and guidance of Sonia Gupta, DLSA Chairman, (Principal District & Sessions Judge), to mark the observance of the Anti-Tobacco Day.
The programme was moderated by Slahuddin Ahmed, Sub Judge/Secretary, DLSA, Samba.
The event was held with the aim to educate the participants about the ills of tobacco use, by using creative ways to convey their knowledge to their peers and using positive peer influence, since peers are positive models for each other. Over 22 participants shared their views in the form of speeches, slogans and poems in various languages.
