NIIMS DOING ITS PART TO ERADICATE THE PANDEMIC BY RAMPING UP VACCINATIONS
The pandemic is raging at full speed. It is incumbent upon us as a society to do everything in our power to stop it. We all have a host of resources at our disposal to fight this pandemic and one major tool in our arsenal in vaccinations. In the long term, this situation will only get under control if everyone gets vaccinated in a safe and healthy environment.
The Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences is doing its part in eradicating the pandemic by helping vaccinate as many citizens as possible. The whole initiative is taking place under the watchful eye of the government. So, rest assured everything is safe and sound. The vaccines are provided by the government. The nursing staff is well trained and equipped and come from nearby government hospitals. NIIMS is more than happy to provide logistical support and its amazing infrastructure to facilitate the vaccination under the august aegis of the government of India. To date, more than 2200 people have been vaccinated at NIIMS and more than 300 people are showing up daily to get inoculated. Dr. Ranjan Awana, the person in charge of the vaccination initiative at NIIMS, said of the program, “we wanted to help fight the coronavirus in every way we could. So, when the government chose us to inoculate the population we were more than happy to provide our expertise and to make sure that the whole process is smooth and hassle-free”.
