AMU faculty gets prestigious fellowships

Aligarh: The Covid-19 pandemic was never an impediment for people who work relentlessly to serve people and improve the quality at their respective centres of excellence.

 

Professor Asif Hasan is one such a Cardiologist, Department of Cardiology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University whose, seminal contribution as an academician and as a Cath Lab interventionist, has fetched him two fellowships in Cardiology – Fellowship in Indian Society of Cardiology (FISC) and Fellowship in Society of Coronary Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), an international fellowship.

 

Congratulating Professor Asif for his outstanding achievement, Professor M U Rabbani (Chairman, Department of Cardiology) said, “The department intends to set up an Advanced Cardiology Centre as a tertiary referral unit, where all cardiac services are provided in a comprehensive integrated manner at a normal cost, protocol wise on the lines of the best hospitals of the country.
