The Head of Karelia met with the youth of the republic

The meeting was attended by students and staff of PetrSU.
The head of the region, Artur Parfenchikov, thanked the young people for their help during the pandemic, and also presented letters of thanks to talented, active children, winners of all-Russian competitions.

During the meeting, the children told the head of the region about the best youth practices implemented in the region.

Alexander Chernyshev, project curator of the student trade union committee, spoke about the activities of the trade union committee of PetrSU.

Artur Parfenchikov emphasized that youth initiatives and ideas are very important for Karelia today:

Young people are an active part of society. Youth is characterized by creativity, courage in setting goals, and at risk. At the same time, it is important that our youth strive for something. Today, wherever we go, whatever enterprises we visit, everywhere we need young hands, promising approaches.

The youth leaders thanked Artur Parfenchikov for his openness in their work, for a quick response, including on his page in social networks, to the requests and suggestions of the residents of Karelia, for the fact that many issues of youth policy began to be resolved faster and more efficiently.

It’s nice that Artur Olegovich pays attention to young people. It was interesting for us to see the reaction of the Head of the region to our initiatives in order to understand whether we are moving in the right direction,
