Rajouri: DLTFC sanctions 57 cases involving Rs 1.70 cr margin money

Rajouri: District Level Task Force Committee today sanctioned 57 cases under various schemes involving a cost of Rs 1.70 cr as margin money here at its meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner, Rajesh K Shavan.

It was informed that a total of 94 applications were received of which, 58 candidates appeared and 57 cases were found eligible for sanction. With sanction to 57 cases, 976 persons will get employment.

The District Development Commissioner while interacting with the beneficiaries urged them to hone their skills to avail the huge employment avenues in the private sector and self employment schemes.

The District Development Commissioner said that the Private sector has huge potential to address the unemployment issue of the young generation in comparison to the Government sector which has very limited scope.

The District Development Commissioner asked the youth to amend their approach and strive to become job givers rather than job seekers. He informed that various self employment schemes of Centre as well as UT Government are being implemented in the district for the welfare of the youth and asked them to avail the benefits of the same.

The District Development Commissioner instructed the implementing agencies to systematically implement the scheme in the district so that more employment opportunities can be created for unemployed youths.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Pawan Kumar; Lead District Manager JK Bank, Jyoti Prakash Sharma; Director RSETI, District Officer KVIB, Abdul Aziz Wani; Zonal Head Grameen Bank, Sham Lal; President JK Bank Cluster Head and a representative from DIC.
