DC Ramban reviews physical, financial achievements under District Capex plan 2021-22

Ramban: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Mussarat Islam chaired a meeting of District and Sectoral officers to review the physical and financial achievements made under District Capex Budget 2021-22, by the line departments, here today.

ADDC Rajinder Sharma, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, ACD, Zameer Rishu, ACP, CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers of PWD, JPDCL, REW and JSD besides other officers of concerned departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the DC took a comprehensive review on the progress of the developmental projects sanctioned in RDD, Power, Health, ICDS, Education, Jal Shakti (JSD), PWD, Youth Services and Sports and other sectors.

The DC directed the officers to expedite the pace of execution of development works to achieve targets set under Capex budget 2021-22. He stressed on E-Tendering, expediting Technical Sanction, Administrative Approval, pre and post photographs of the approved projects.

The DC directed the officers of all executing departments to submit a copy of contract allotment of all ongoing and new projects for their close monitoring.

Threadbare discussion was also held on key centrally sponsored schemes which are part of the District Development Plan, like Area Development Fund, MGNREGA and Jal Jeevan Mission and necessary directions were passed to the concerned to achieve tangible results.

The DC directed the Executive Engineer to expedite tendering and other formalities of all 74 sanctioned schemes under JJM to start execution of the projects of public importance.

The DC directed the DPO to take the list of defunct hand pumps from concerned PRIs and submit it to the Executive Engineer, Ground Water Division, Jammu for rejuvenation of the same.

While reviewing the progress under Jal Shakti Abhiyan, the DC directed the Executive Engineer, JSD to submit a 14-Point progress report on a monthly basis. He further asked other stakeholder departments to expedite the assigned activities under the flagship programme.

He also directed to keep in consideration all the requisite health advisories and SOPs and emphasized for accelerating the pace of work so that desired results are achieved in a time bound manner.
