DPS Rajnagar Extension’s students celebrated Paper Bag Day

Ghaziabad: Paper Bag Day was celebrated at DPS Rajnagar Extension in which children were made aware about the harmful effect of plastic bags on the environment. The students from classes III- V participated in this event with full zeal and enthusiasm. The little ones made newspaper bags in different designs with biodegradable materials. The slogan of ‘Say No to plastic bags’ was encouraged as a messaging on these bags. Apart from this, different creative slogans were given to promote for less use of plastic.

At the same time, the school teacher made the students aware about the perilous impact plastic has on the environment and living beings. To boost the morale of all the students, the students involved in this program were awarded for their excellent work.

On this occasion, Principal of DPS Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad, Pallavi Upadhyaya said, “Through our Paper Bag Day activity, the students were made aware of the things that pollute the en+vironment, so that the students get the right knowledge and become responsible denizens. Such programs organized for the students help us in highlighting their talent”
