Implementation of NRLM interventions discussed at Ramban
RAMBAN : Jammu & Kashmir National Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM), Block Ramsoo conducted a meeting with State Bank of India (SBI) Ramsoo to discuss the plan for implementing NRLM’ schemes to empower the downtrodden and poor section of society.
The meeting was presided by the Lead Bank Manager Rashid Ahmed in which Bank Managers of all branches of J&K Bank, SBI and all the concerned officers participated.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Nodal Officer (DNO) NRLM Ramban, Block Programme Manager, Manzoor Ahmed Rather gave a brief account of JKNRLM and its procedure to work in collaboration with different departments.
The DNO informed that JKNRLM is working to enhance the living standard of poor and weaker sections of the society. In this regard JKNRLM has a target of nearly Rs 3 crore for financial year 2021-22.
During the meeting, various issues were discussed in detail like timely disbursement of loan cases, bulk enrollment under social security schemes, timely repayment of SHG loans and various other issues faced by JKNRLM with Lead Bank Manager, Heads of J&K Bank Ukhral, Khari, Ramsoo and other concerned.
The DNO said that JKNRLM will conduct financial awareness camps in less literate areas of the district in collaboration with J&K bank in future, so that maximum number of people may come under financial inclusion.
