International Program conducted by ASCI and association with University of California Los Angeles (Extension) [UCLA (Extension)] on “Artificial Intelligence: Principles and Techniques”

The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, in collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles Extension (UCLA Extension) and IGESIA Academy has launched a programme on Artificial Intelligence: Principles and Techniques” through virtual mode.

The 1½ month-long programme (11th July-31st August) is intended to build the capacity of the participants on the applications and usage of Artificial Intelligence so that they can learn to effectively analyze, articulate and apply AI and leadership insights in their function or business. The programme intends to provide the participants key insights along three essential dimensions.

 

1) Core AI technologies

2) Innovative business applications of AI

3) Human and societal implications of AI

The faculty for the programme is from top global schools, including Cox School of Business, Vanderbilt University, Cornell University etc., who provided the international perspective on key learning areas. In addition, upon successful completion of this course, the participants get a Record of Participation from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension.

 

“This programme is beneficial for the senior executives who are wishing to create a strategy for applying AI within their organization.  This course also helps them learn more about the leading trends in AI technologies such as Machine Learning, robotics and natural language processing,” said Dr Nirmalya Bagchi, the programme Director and the DG(i/c) ASCI.

 

“During the programme, the participants have the chance to learn from world-class faculty through live virtual lectures delivered from the USA. The participants will also interact with the industry executives and better understand ongoing trends in AI in Indian and global business”, said Mr Karnak Roy, the joint programme Director and faculty from ASCI.
