Handloom department holds awareness camp at Panassa

REASI : Handloom Development Department Reasi, today organised an awareness programme for the weavers and common people here at Panasa area to mark the handloom day.
Assistant Director, Chander Mohini made the participants aware regarding the importance of the celebration of handloom day and various schemes run by the department for the weavers like credit card scheme for weavers, Pradhan Mantri weaver Mudra Yojna, financial help scheme for formation of cooperatives etc. Certificates were also distributed among ex-trainees.
She appealed to the public to avail the benefits of government schemes especially the women to become self-reliant which will give a boost to the PM’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
