RWTH: RWTH and 28 other universities establish an interest group for the digital education platform Moodle
Moodle is used at around 180 German universities and is therefore available to over 1.5 million students. In the Corona crisis, with the help of Moodle, the study operations could not only be maintained, but also expanded.
Even without a pandemic, such digital platforms offer many possibilities: course content can be accessed in various digital formats regardless of time and location, and students communicate with each other and with teachers. You work on interactive learning activities, exams are digitally supported.
The association is the contact person and multiplier, strengthens networking and knowledge transfer and coordinates Moodle developments for university needs.
“Moodle an Hochschulen” organizes network meetings and expert panels and enables the exchange and publication of best practices, thereby contributing to digital sovereignty in the education sector.
