A new logo has been developed for the 70th anniversary of the Botanical Garden of PetrSU

The author of the logo is Ekaterina Lykova, a graduate of the Department of Technology, Fine Arts and Design of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of PetrSU.
The logo was created as part of the final qualification work with the active assistance of scientific advisers – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department Tatyana Aleksandrovna Voloshina and the teacher of the Department, a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, Irina Aleksandrovna Mamontova.

“Garden on Rocks” – this is how the Botanical Garden of PetrSU is sometimes called, so the image of a stone was laid in the basis of the logo. Blue-green shades are the colors of the north, our cold lakes, rocks, forest shadows, lichens. In the stylized image, both the shape of the lichen and the rare grapefruit fern used in the earlier emblem of the garden, as well as elements of Karelian embroidery, are guessed,
