PMGSY Div. Kupwara holds seminar on ‘District Rural Roads’; VC DDC Kupwara presides over the seminar

KUPWARA : PMGSY Division Kupwara today organized a seminar on ‘District Rural Roads’, at Town Hall Kupwara.

Vice Chairman, District Development Council (DDC), Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir presided over the seminar.

Speaking at the occasion, the Vice Chairperson appreciated the PMGSY for its role in providing better road infrastructure across the district especially in far flung areas. He also directed the Executive Engineer PMGSY to speed up the pace of work and ensure completion of all on-going projects in the district before the onset of winter.

During the seminar, speakers from PMGSY provided thorough awareness to the participants about the role of PMGSY in rural development and income generation.

On the occasion, PMGSY Division Kupwara showcased its achievements in the district and also highlighted the targets to be achieved in future as well.

The Information Department Kupwara, on the occasion, appealed to the participants to strictly follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and other SOPs.
