CMRIT, ECO Club, Department of Civil Engineering, conducts “Cycle to Recycle” awareness rally

Bengaluru: The ECO club of Department of Civil Engineering, CMRIT conducted a public awareness rally “Cycle to Recycle” recently. The objective of the rally was to create an awareness on the importance of segregation of waste, use of waste materials and disposal of industrial waste.

The rally witnessed more than 30 participants involving both CMRIT faculty and students. Slogans and banners on the same theme were used in the cycle jatha. The rally started from college campus and followed the following route – CMRIT, AECS layout via ITPL main road, GSA wave woods, Chinnappanahalli main road, Outer ring road-service road, Kalamandir, Spice garden, Kundalahalli gate, kundalahalli main road, CMRIT, AECS layout. The event was supported by Aayug hospital, AECS Layout, Kundalahalli and Law and order of the procession was ensured by the Police Inspectors from HAL Police Station.
