DC Ramban reviews functioning of DH, 4-bedded Dialysis Unit
RAMBAN : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today reviewed the functioning of District Hospital Ramban.
The DC also inspected 4-bedded Dialysis Unit, ICU, UltraSound, progress on 500 LPM Oxygen Plant, additional Medical Oxygen Generation Plant, besides other health facilities available in District Hospital for patients.
Medical Superintendent, DH, Dr. Hameed Zargar was directed to immediately install the additional newly-procured digital x-ray machine and keep check on unauthorized parking inside the hospital premises.
The DC was apprised by the AEE Mechanical that the first part of 750 LPM of 1500 LPM Oxygen Plant project is functional in District Hospital and 2nd part of the project will start functioning soon. He also briefed the DC about the status of progress on an additional 500 LPM Medical Oxygen Generation Plant.
The DC also visited the District Hospital to take stock of health facilities being provided to patients, besides reviewing the implementation of Covid protocols.
While reviewing the implementation of PM-JAY-SEHAT scheme, the DC directed the MS to sensitize the patients and their attendants, besides ensure that all the patients shall avail the benefit from this health insurance scheme.
The Deputy Commissioner also went around the wards and interacted with the patients and attendants. He informed them about the SEHAT scheme which aims to provide Universal Health Insurance Coverage of Rs. 5.00 lakh to all residents of J&K UT. He also advised them to wear masks and maintain physical distance in order to prevent Covid-19 infection.
The Deputy Commissioner also checked the OPD management and passed directions for ensuring that all medical facilities are extended to OPD & IPD patients in a hassle-free manner. He also directed the hospital administration to regulate parking of vehicles in the hospital campus for which additional manpower has been augmented.
