DIPR Ramban organizes Drawing and Painting competition

RAMBAN : As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Ramban organized a drawing and painting competition here at the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Chanderkote.

On the occasion, the girl students of KGBV draw paintings on the topic of ‘Freedom Struggle of India’.

Warden, KGBV, Santosh Chib and officials of District Information Centre, Ramban, supervised and judged the competition.

The Warden thanked the DIPR for holding the competition in the girls’ hostel and giving them a good platform for display and give vent to their latent talent.

In the competition, Sonia, Manisha Devi and Shivali Devi stood first, second and third, respectively. The winners were also given prizes. The DIC Ramban has chalked out a detailed schedule for organizing various events under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated in the country to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence.
