Aakash Institute in Khammam achieves 100% Vaccination; All Staff in the branch have taken a minimum of one dose of the vaccine

Khammam: As the second wave of COVID-19 is hopefully mellowing down, and the nation pins its hopes on vaccination for a speedy return to normalcy, Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), the national leader in test preparation services, pushes ahead with its vaccination drive across its nation-wide network of over 215 centres to protect its employees and their families from the deadly virus.

In this drive, it has notably achieved 100% vaccination status with atleast one dose for all its employees and support staff in its branch located in Khammam, Telangana. The Khammam branch has 14 employees and all of them have taken a minimum of one dose of the vaccine.

The vaccination drive, launched in May 2021 vaccinates not only the staff but also their family members. AESL bears the full cost of vaccination of an employee and one family member.

In addition to the vaccination drive, AESL also runs a national helpline to support employees who need medical assistance. It has also announced various financial aid to families of staff who succumbed to COVID-19 infection. It will offer an amount equivalent to the one-year salary of the staff to the family. It will bear the cost of medical insurance of family members of the deceased staff for three years and support the education of children till they complete their graduation.

Commenting about the vaccination drive and COVID assistance, Mr. Aakash Chaudhry, Managing Director, Aakash Educational Services Limited, said, “In these uncertain times, it is our duty to support each and every one of our teaching and non-teaching staff members in all possible ways. We have launched the vaccination drive to protect them and their families and relatives from COVID-19 infection. We are fully committed to supporting their medical needs.
