IMPARD Jammu holds interactive sessions for JKAS officers
JAMMU : The special training programme for JKAS-2019 officers at IMPARD Jammu continued successfully on its fourth day. The day was marked by two interactive sessions with Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain and BR Sharma, both veterans of their profession.
Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain shared his expert advice on various subjects including leadership and management through virtual mode. He spoke exhaustively on history and geography of Jammu & Kashmir, regional geopolitics and international affairs. He also spoke with the young officers in an interactive session held later.
In another session, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, BR Sharma shared valuable insights and work experience gained over the years in his public service. The session was also attended by officers from IMPARD Kashmir through virtual mode.
In an open discussion with the officer trainees he replied to various queries pertaining to RTI, Ensuring Transparency, Role of PSC, Public dealing, Changing Role of JKAS officers and Citizen Centric Governance.
The two sessions were also attended by Director Trainings, Dr Reva Sharma and course coordinators Dr Neena Bhalla and Ruchi Gupta among others.
The five-days training programme, which started on August 23, has witnessed various sports and cultural activities. The training has been organised to hone skills of upcoming officers of Jammu & Kashmir, and will conclude with the valedictory function on August 27.
