VC inaugurates New Block at AK Tibbiya College Hospital

Aligarh : The New Block of Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Hospital was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor. This New Block housed five OPDs offers better access to the patients surrounded by lush green herbal gardens. The facilities include Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (Preventive and Social Medicine), Ilaj–bil-Tadbeer (Regimental Therapy.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor, while inaugurating the New Block, said the new infrastructure will add more value to the quality of treatment and fulfill the much needed requirement of the AK Tibbiya College Hospital; he also assured all the possible help for further growth. “We are also thankful to Dr Asim Ali Khan DG RRIUM for accepting our request to vacate this block after the waiting of almost 5 decades”, he added.

During the inaugural function, Prof Saud Ali Khan (Principal AK Tibbiya College Hospital) said the New Block, a State of Art, Central Lab is being established in which all types of Pathological investigation will be taken care of along with other patient care facilities.

The Dean Faculty of Unani Medicine Prof F S Sherani said that the New Block will fulfill the need of building for next 50 years or so. We are grateful to the Vice Chancellor and the Principal Tibbiya College for their efforts to bring back this very important premise to AK Tibbiya College ambit.

On this occasion the Principal AK Tibbiya College, Dean Faculty of Unani Medicine, Chairmen of various department of faculty of Unani Medicine and other functionaries of the AK Tibbiya College Hospital were also present.
