Kyushu University: Kyushu U’s greatest strength lies in “industry income,” according to Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings 2022
The latest result of Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 was announced on September 2, 2021. Of over 25,000 universities said to exist worldwide, the largest ever 1,662 universities (including 118 Japanese universities) are ranked this year. Kyushu U gets ranked in the 501-600 band, occupying the 9th place among the Japanese entrants. Of the five indicators used to work out the ranking, Kyushu U is strongest in “industrial income” (139th) and “Teaching” (170th), making it the world’s top 200 in these categories.
