DYSS organises Yoga camp at Nagseni, Padh Yatra at Warwan
KISHTWAR : To inculcates the streak of excellence among the students in all fields of games & Sports, Department of Youth Services & Sports today organised a Yoga camp at Nagseni and Padh Yatra at Warwan to mark the celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence ( Azadi ka Amrut Mahatsuv).
The events were held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma and under the overall guidance of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kharati Lal Sharma.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kharati Lal Sharma- the Chief guest at the Yoga camp said that Yoga improves strength, flexibility and can ease arthritis symptoms. He advised the participants to do yoga exercises daily He praised the sports employees for their efforts and asked them to strictly follow the annual activity calendar issued by Director YSS J&K Gazanfar Ali.
Incharge ZPEO Zone Nagseni Suresh Parihar along with Zorawer Singh PET, gave full demonstration of different Yoga exercises.
Meanwhile, a Padh Yatra was organised at Afti (Zone Marwah) a far flung area of District Kishtwar by the activity Incharge Javed Iqbal Sheikh, Shahnawaz Ahmed Qazi (PEM), Grounds man Mumtaz Ahmed Wani, Altaf Ahmed NYC and other sports officials,.
The rally started from HSS Afti Warwan to Argan weir Mongli. Students participated in the Padh Yatra with full enthusiasm.
