DC Reasi meets with NGOs, appreciates their work

REASI, SEPTEMBER 07: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today held a meeting with the representatives of various NGOs working for welfare of people in the district.

Threadbare discussions were held on various issues pertaining to the working of NGOs. The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts being put in by NGOs for the welfare of society.

Charandeep Singh called for better synchronization between administration and NGOs and assured them of all possible support from District Administration.

Highlighting their role and contribution in the society, the Deputy Commissioner said that NGOs and Civil Society together act as the supporting pillars of the Administration and help in reaching out to the underprivileged sections and those at the last mile besides enhancing the efficacy of welfare schemes and programmes.

He also urged upon NGO representatives to actively participate in the ’Project MADAD’-for differently abled persons to ensure its success.
