University of Warwick: Warwick named as one of the UK’s top 10 universities by the Guardian

The University of Warwick has been named as one of the UK’s top 10 universities in the Guardian University Guide 2022, placing 6th – a rise of two places.

The news follows shortly after Warwick was named as one of the UK’s top 10 and world’s top 80 universities by the Times Higher Education (THE).

Warwick’s success in the Guardian and THE rankings reflect the findings of the 2021 National Student Survey (NSS), which placed Warwick third in the Russell Group and 13th in the UK for Overall Satisfaction.

Commenting on the Guardian University Guide 2022 the University of Warwick’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Stuart Croft, said:

“The last eighteen months have been a time like no other in our University’s history, but as each new challenge arose the Warwick community came together and worked tirelessly to ensure that we continued to deliver what we are globally recognised as being; a home of research and teaching excellence.

“This has been a real team effort and the Guardian’s recognition of what has been achieved by our students, academic staff, and administrative and estates teams throughout our community, is something of which we can all be proud – and I am absolutely delighted to once more offer my thanks and congratulations to all you.”
