AYUSH Kishtwar’s Azadi ka Amrut Mohatsav celebration enters 7th week

KISHTWAR : AYUSH-way to keep the covid Away- a special series of awareness programmes being organised by the AYUSH Department Kishtwar to celebrate Azadi ka Amrut Mohatsav today entered the 7th week with the hosting of a weeklong webinar.

District Nodal Officer AYUSH Kishtwar Dr. Taraq Hussain inaugurated the webinar and interacted live with the participants.

Dr Taraq Hussain thanked Director AYUSH Dr. Mohan Singh and Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma for providing the AYUSH effective platforms to interact and exchange useful information with the public about the safety measures against the Covid pandemic.

He later briefed the participants about the role of AYUSH particularly in the fight against the covid pandemic.

He appealed the listeners to adopt the AYUSH ways in order to stay mentally, physically and emotionally healthy.

Later, the first speaker of the week long webinar session, Medical Officer Dr. Joneed Iqbal elaborated the holistic approach of the AYUSH for staying fit and its usefulness in the covid pandemic and in general well being.
