DYS&S Bandipora kick-starts Inter-School Sports Competition

BANDIPORA : The District Youth Services and Sports (DYS&S) Bandipora on Tuesday kick started inter-school sports competitions at Government Higher Secondary School Nadihal.

The inaugural matches were played at inter zonal level Under-14 and Under-17 category Girls in Volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho.

Principal HSS Nadihal, Mohammad Hussain Magrey was the chief guest on the occasion while In-charge activities Nasir Hussain Khan was also present on the occasion.

The Principal interacted with the students and appreciated them for participating in the sports activities. He urged them to take keen interest in sports activities as it is equally important for the overall development.

In-Charge Activities said the competitions shall continue till September 22 in different categories including Under-14 and Under 19 at Inter-school level and Inter zonal level.
