DG Horticulture Kmr plants fruit sapling to mark 71st birthday of PM of India

SRINAGAR : The Director General Horticulture, Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat today planted a fruit sapling at Centre of Excellence (CoE), Zawoora, here to mark the 71st Birthday of Prime Minister of India.

On the occasion, the DG said that the department is committed to fulfill the Prime Minister’s mission of doubling the farmers’ income. He said that the department is working tirelessly for social and financial upliftment of the farming community by providing them benefits under various Central/ State sponsored schemes.

Concluding the event, the DG wished the Prime Minister of India good health, prosperity and happiness.
