Inter Zone District Level Tournament commences in Reasi

REASI : Inter Zonal level district competitions being organised by District youth Services and sports Department in Chess, Carrom and Rope Skipping started here at Government Higher Secondary Reasi on Wednesday.

On this occasion, ACD Anirudh Rai was the chief guest at the inaugural function, while the event was supervised by District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Subash Chander.

Anirudh Rai interacted with the students and advised them to actively participate in the sports activities for their all-round development. He also wished them all the best for the competition.

A Total number of four zones participated in the event in which 60 took part.

In the under 14 Chess competition for boys, zone Pouni defeated Mahore, while in the U 19 Pouni zone team beat Reasi.

Similarly, in the U 14 Carrom competition for Boys, the final match was played between Arnas and Reasi which was won by the former and in the U 19 category, Pouni won the match against Reasi.
