RWTH: Bertha Benz Prize for RWTH graduate Alexandra Rommerskirchen
This is awarded by the Daimler and Benz Foundation and is endowed with 10,000 euros. It honors young female engineers who have created added value for society with the results of their dissertation and who have shown a pioneering spirit, courage and visionary character.
Rommerskirchen received the award for her dissertation “Continuous Flow-Capacitive Deionization”, which she wrote at the DWI – Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials and at the Chair of Chemical Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University.
