Inter Zonal district level Cricket tournament held at Reasi

REASI : Department of youth services and sports Reasi today organised Inter Zonal level district Cricket matches for U19 teams, here at General Zorawar Singh stadium.

As many as 52 students of four zones of the district took part in the tournament organised by Sandeepan Sharma PEM; Kuldeep Raj PEM, Asha Devi PEM, Harjeet Singh PET, Opinderpal Singh PET and Goutam Kundal PET under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Subash Chander.

Opening match was won by zone Mahore by defeating zone Arnas by three wickets. Zone Mahore won the toss and chose to bowl first. Zone Arnas managed to score 87 runs in 15 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. The Mahore Zone Team scored 88 runs in the last ball of the 15th over for the loss of 7 wickets and won the match by 3 wickets.
