UP State Rural Livelihood Mission hires Social Work Students

Aligarh : Eleven students of the Department of Social Work, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have been hired for ongoing projects under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM), Ministry of Rural Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

In a recently held campus placement drive organised by the Department of Social Work in collaboration with the Training & Placement Office (General), AMU, senior officials of UPSRLM, Lucknow selected the students of Master of Social Work (MSW).

The UPSRLM team praised the students for their ability, acumen and aptitude in consonance with the requirements of UPSRLM programme.

Prof Naseem Ahmad Khan, Chairperson, Department of Social Work congratulated the students for getting selected in the prestigious UPSRLM programme of the government. He extended gratitude to the senior officials of the UPSRLM, Lucknow for visiting the Department and selecting the students. He also commended the efforts of faculty members for mentoring the students.

Mr Saad Hameed, Training & Placement Officer (General) thanked the UPSRLM for identifying and providing opportunity to young talents from AMU in the prestigious flagship programme of the UP government. He looked forward to sustained future collaboration to recruit more talent from AMU in UPSRLM & other government programmes.

Dr Mohammad Tahir and Dr Mohd Arif Khan, Placement Coordinators, Department of Social Work wished success to the selected students and thanked the Chairperson, UPSRLM officials and TPO (General) for the placement drive.

Faculty members Dr Qurratul Aein Ali, Dr Shyna Saif, Dr Andleeb, Dr Mohd Uzair and Dr Sameera Khanam assured full support and mentoring for students in future placement drives.
