The Rare Book Sector opened the doors to the world of old paper books for philology students

First-year students of the “Applied Philology” and “Classical Philology” directions attended a large review in the Scientific Library.
The rare book sector opened the doors to the world of old paper books for guests. Students were able to touch rare European editions of the 17th century in Latin, books on ancient mythology and culture, pre-revolutionary school textbooks on Latin, as well as a rich collection of books by Russian and foreign writers and researchers of the 18th – early 20th centuries. The classics students were also presented with handwritten and early printed books.

Classes were conducted by the head of the rare book sector Svetlana Viktorovna Novozhilova and the leading bibliographer of the rare book sector Evgenia Sergeevna Kuykina,
