Project experts visited colleges in Khorezm
Working meetings dedicated to the implementation of the “Skills Development for Employability in Rural Areas of Uzbekistan” Project were held in Khorezm region. Chairman of Dehkan Farms and Landowners, Deputy Chairman and Head of the HR Department of the Khorezm Regional Council of Farmers, Head of Khorezm Regional Department of Ministry of Water Resources, representatives from Ministry of Agriculture and from Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations participated at the meeting with project experts.
Project team presented information about goals and objectives set by the EU funded TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) project. A survey and interview with employers was conducted to determine demand for the profession. Koshkopir College of Water Resources and Land Reclamation and the Urgench Agrotechnology technical school were visited. During the visit, experts got acquainted with the conditions created for students. Working programs, teaching materials, the literature used in teaching were observed.
