MDI Gurgaon expands its Global footprints, signs MOU with European and African Universities
MDI Gurgaon: The vision of being globally acclaimed top Indian B-School is all set to be true as the most reckoned MDI Gurgaon signs MoU with the most prestigious varsities of Europe and Africa. The institute recently joined hands with ALBA Business School (ALBA) Greece, Copenhagen Business School (CBS) Denmark, ZHAW School of Management and Law Zurich, Switzerland, Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB) Greece, BEM Business School, Senegal and Toulouse Business School (TBA) France.
The co-operation between universities aim at fostering advancement in areas like teaching, research, cultural understanding through: the exchange of postgraduate students, faculty members, academic information and materials; and also by organizing joint corporate training and research programs. Looking at future requirements and for better academic collaborations MDI Gurgaon restructured & signed fresh MoUs with Moscow International Higher Business School (MIRBIS) Moscow, Russia and ESCP Europe.
Speaking on the occasion Prof. Atmanand, Director (Additional Charge) MDI Gurgaon said “Knowledge knows no bounds and hence, it gives a sense of acceptance & strength to be associated with these universities. The key intents of MoUs is to develop skills of the local students so that, they are able to aid their participation towards the development of nation”.
Prof. Shailendra Kumar Rai, Chairperson- International Relations, MDI Gurgaon shared that, ‘It is a remarkable step for the institute as a whole as the success of any business school depends on its ability to build strategic partnerships globally. This will not only bring-in various privileges for MDI but in a way will add value to the partnering institutions also. In order to grow meaningful partnerships globally, the institute is currently in dialogue with universities in South Korea, China, Vietnam, Brazil, Australia, Europe and North America. MDI Gurgaon is also looking forward towards establishing advance research collaborations with Universities like Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy & Public Administration (RANEPA) Russia. The MOUs will increase students’ mobility and faculty exchanges, support joint research projects, enhance joint training, research and publication etc across institutions.
