Professional development in the digital environment
At the faculty of advanced training and professional retraining of PetrSU, classes have begun on the additional professional advanced training program “Distance learning on the Moodle platform: organization of work with digital content”.
The program is being implemented online. The students of the program are teachers of the Medical Institute of PetrSU.
The program is designed to further improve the digital competencies of the teaching staff of PetrSU, further develop the skills of working with the Moodle and BigBlueButton programs , get acquainted with the methods of creating digital content and organizing work with this content. The program was developed by the head of the department of electronic educational resources of the Educational and Methodological Department of PetrSU, Ph.D. A.N. Koryakin.
The training program contains 5 main modules: e-learning and distance learning technologies, classification of electronic educational resources, educational portal of PetrSU, methodology for preparing digital content for a distance course; the main features of Moodle , the course interface, an overview of the forms for presenting information to students: lectures, assignments, test, glossary, survey, forum, chat, etc .; digital content creation and placement on the Moodle platform ; development and creation of assessment materials for the development of digital content on the Moodle platform; monitoring the activities of students on the Moodle platform, communication and cooperation.
Classes with students are conducted by Igor Viktorovich Klimov, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics at the Physico-Technical Institute of PetrSU. The program includes lectures, practical and consulting sessions online, as well as independent work of students to develop individual skills in working on the Moodle and BigBlueButton platforms . Students who have successfully mastered the program and passed the final certification will receive a certificate of professional development in the established form.
