KIIT World School, Gurugram conducts Investiture Ceremony
Gurugram : In order to encourage teamwork, leadership quality and inculcate responsibility KIIT World School Sohna Road ,Gurugram hosted a prestigious investiture ceremony in the school premises with great enthusiasm and dignity .The event was conducted to appoint and honour the students as Prime Minister, Speaker, Minister of Environment, Minister of Sports, Minister of Discipline, Minister of health and Hygiene, Minister of Social Welfare, Minister of Property, and the respective deputy Ministers of each department.
In this ceremony 25 ministers took oath in which Purbangi Banerjee was elected as Prime Minister, Piyush Tanwar as Deputy Prime Minister, Shaurya Vir Singh Pal as Speaker, Pratibha Chauhan as Vice President, Tanisha Khatana as Environment Minister, Yuvraj Gaur as Sports Minister and Chitrakshi as Discipline Minister
The students’ council took the pledge to hold the school motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. The purpose of the student council is to encourage the students to be involved in school, society, environment, discipline and decision making.
KIIT World School Principal Neelima Kamrah appreciated and congratulated the newly appointed leaders and encouraged them to take up their responsibilities enthusiastically and also motivated the student council to develop their thinking and become a global citizen.
The investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office-bearers.The school firmly believes that the child-centric approach will help the students evolve as responsible citizens.
