Shri Sanjeev Sanyal is a Rhodes Scholar and an Eisenhower Fellow, and was named ‘Young Global Leader’ for 2010 by the World Economic Forum. Shri Sanyal has written extensively on economics, environmental conservation and urban issues. He was Deutsche Bank’s Global Strategist and Managing Director till 2015. He is the author of several books including ‘The Indian Renaissance: India’s Rise after a Thousand Years of Decline’.
Born and brought up in Kolkata, Shri Sanyal studied in St James’ and St Xavier’s schools and then received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. He completed his Master’s degree from St John’s College at Oxford University.
