Ural Federal University: Huawei Cup 2021 Regional Festival Took Place at the University

Engineering School of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Control Systems of Ural Federal University hosted a regional festival within the framework of the Huawei Cup 2021 Eurasian competitions. Students learned more about career opportunities at Huawei, took part in a quiz and had lectures from experts.

“How can one institute keep up with modern technology trends? We cannot do that without partners. How can we catch up with Huawei company while being in Yekaterinburg? Therefore, we invite companies to join us and work together,” said Ilya Obabkov, Director of UrFU Engineering School of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Control Systems, talking about the importance of such events.

Huawei’s leading engineer and decision manager Sergey Mazanov, gave a lecture on 5G technology and its development in various sectors. Director of the Center for the Development of Information Technologies “IT-Planet” Sergey Shalashny held a master class “Why anyone needs his own mission.”
